Dara was admitted to practice in Singapore in 1988. He practised in a number of medium-sized practices in Singapore between 1988 to 2001, engaged mainly in commercial civil litigation. Dara has also served as in-house legal counsel for two different multi-national corporations and between 1994 to 1996 was based in the West African headquarters of one of them.
In 2002 he obtained a Masters in Business Administration from Curtin University in Perth and subsequently worked in a business development role in the eastern states. He was admitted to practice in New South Wales in late 2003 and in Western Australia, which he now calls home, since 2005.
At Friedman Lurie Singh & D'Angelo, he practises in the civil and commercial litigation division handling a variety of matters across a broad range of legal scenarios.
