PERSONNEL

NEVILLE attained the degree of Baccalaureus Procurationis from the University of Cape Town in December 1975 and was admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of the Republic of South Africa in February 1979.  He was admitted to partnership in a law firm in Cape Town in 1980.  Neville immigrated into Western Australia in November 1982 and was employed by a large city firm of solicitors (with national affiliations) before leaving to practise initially on his own account under the style of Friedman & Bonomelli.  He was admitted to practise as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in December 1983 and to the High Court of Australia in March 1984.  He has conducted civil and commercial litigation at all court levels and has developed a special interest in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, property transactions and disputes, Corporations Law, consumer rights (in particular litigation against corporations and financial institutions) contract and tender litigation.
