PERSONNEL

GAIKLIN CHAN attained the degree of Bachelor of Jurisprudence from the University of Western Australia in 1983 and the degree of Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia in 1984.  She was admitted to practise as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia in December 1985.  She worked in a medium- sized city firm providing a  wide range of legal  services including commercial and general litigation, deceased estates and wills, criminal law and family law from 1984 to 1988.  She eventually specialised in family law.  She practised in family law between 1992 and 1998 at the State Government Commission in Perth, Western Australia.

Gaiklin is a registered migration agent and in 1998 she joined a prominent company specialising in immigration as a consultant and solicitor.  She has thirteen years experience in the immigration industry.  She has a wide range of experience in all areas of immigration including business skills, general skills, corporate, family, students, retirement, reviews and appeals.  At Friedman Lurie Singh & D’Angelo she specialises in all areas of immigration including business skills, personal and family migration.  GaikLin is a member of the Migration Institute of Australia.
