Migration Law
The Migration Services Division provides advice on all areas of migration, specialising in the following:
Business Skills – we assist overseas business owners to meet their requirements for an ‘eligible’ business in either setting up a new Australian business or buying into an existing Australian business.
We advise investors wishing to migrate on the basis of investment in Australia but who do not wish to operate a business.
We assist senior executives and managers emigrating to Australia based on their experience and business skills.
For business migrants who hold business skills visas, we advise on how to complete statutory immigration surveys (usually 24 and 36 months post arrival) and to meet their obligations under their business skills visas. failure to complete these surveys fully and properly and in time can result in the visa been cancelled.
We advise and lodge applications for Australian employers seeking to engage the services of overseas employees. We also assist employers meet the immigration departments monitoring and audit requirements.
For individuals and professionals, we assist in the calculation of the General Skills Points on the basis of which migration can be undertaken, especially professionals and skilled tradesmen on the Priority Occupations List issued by the Immigration Department of Australia from time to time.
We also assist graduate students to migrate to Australia and to lodge their applications together with General Skills Points assessments.
The Migration Services Division provides advice relating to ‘family’ migration including spouses (including de facto spouses), fiancee’s, parents and other relatives.
Our Division also provides migration and legal advice and representation in respect of reviews and appeals to the Migration Review Tribunal and the Federal Courts and beyond.
