Only dedicated family lawyers in Perth experienced in the family court process will have conduct of your matter!
Where separated couples are not able to reach agreement on all or some of the issues then either party can apply to the Family Court of Western Australia to have the matter decided by the Court.
The Family Court has introduced processes that parties must follow before filing an application in the Court. These requirements are known as Pre-Action Procedures and apply to disputes involving child welfare matters and financial issues.
The object of the Pre-Action Procedures is to control costs and if it is possible for the parties to reach agreement, then for a Form 11 Application for Consent Orders to be filed with the Family Court without the need for Family Court proceedings to be commenced and argued.
The Family Law Services Division of Friedman Lurie Singh & D’Angelo can ensure clients comply with the Pre-Action Procedure requirements and if attempts to negotiate are not successful then to assist clients with the commencement and conduct of the Family Court proceedings.
Friedman Lurie Singh & D’Angelo can provide strong court representation with respect to children, financial and divorce matters in the Family Court of Western Australia, and guide you through the family court process.
